Inexperience proving costly both in the field and with the bat. Too many runs and wickets given away. Nonetheless some very satisfying aspects of the game.

Captain John Nicholas, manager Dave Nicholas and umpire Gordon Howley doing a first class job in bringing these boys through – as exemplified this week by 14 year old Max Dawson’s biggest score for the 3s.

Although the season got off to a defeat, the under 17s have had a decent start to the season and this is proving a platform for some of the players to ignite their season. This season the division has amalgamated with the Ribblesdale League whose teams who play as under 18s
